# Depot endpointtransfer

Registers the transfer routes on the tenant API.

This page is generated from the Depot route table. Every operation carries the permission it needs and the anchor an agent can link to.

### POST `/api/v1/endpoints/{agentID}/transfer` {#depot.endpointtransfer.transfer}

**transfer starts moving an endpoint into another client the practice manages.**

It answers 202 with the A-side command to poll: dispatched for a connected endpoint, queued for an offline one, which moves the next time it connects.

#### Parameters

| Name | In | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `agentID` | path | string | Yes |  |

#### Request body

Required, sent as `application/json`.

#### Responses

| Status | Body | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `202` | `application/json`, EndpointTransferResponse | Accepted. |
| `400` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | The request body is not valid JSON. |
| `401` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | No signed-in identity. |
| `403` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | Moving an endpoint needs permission to enroll endpoints. |
| `404` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | Endpoint not found. |
| `409` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | The request conflicts with the current state. |
| `500` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | No client context in request. |
| `502` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | The request was refused. |
| `503` | `application/problem+json`, ProblemDetails | This Depot has no agent server URL configured. |

### DELETE `/api/v1/endpoints/{agentID}/transfer` {#depot.endpointtransfer.cancel}

**cancel withdraws a transfer that is still queued for an offline endpoint.**

Once it has been armed it is under way and answers 409; nothing was minted for a queued one, so there is nothing to revoke. 204 on success.

#### Responses

### POST `/api/v1/endpoints/bulk/transfer` {#depot.endpointtransfer.bulkTransfer}

**bulkTransfer moves up to 500 endpoints into one client and site.**

B is resolved once; each endpoint is then checked and started on its own, so one refusal never stops the rest. It answers 200 with one item per endpoint, in request order.

#### Request body

Required, sent as `application/json`.

#### Responses
