# Quickstart

This is the shortest path from nothing to one managed endpoint: an Outpost
account, a Depot on one server, and an Agent on one test machine that reports
back.
It is written for whoever is evaluating Outpost or setting it up for the first
time, and it stops at the point where the console has real data in it.
