Console preferences

The Console settings drawer changes how the console looks and behaves for you. Open it from the settings button in the header, or from the profile menu. These preferences are stored in your browser, so they apply to this browser only and do not follow you to another computer.

Theme

Option	Effect	Default
Light	Always use the light theme.
Dark	Always use the dark theme.
Follow the OS	Use your operating system’s light or dark setting, and change when it does.	Selected

The dark mode button in the header and Switch to dark mode or Switch to light mode in the profile menu switch between light and dark.

Layout

Option	Effect	Default
Header position fixed	The header stays at the top while the page scrolls.	On
Navigation position fixed	The navigation rail stays in place while the page scrolls.	On
Navigation minified	The navigation rail shows icons only. Also set by the arrow button at the foot of the rail. Large screens only.	Off
Navigation collapsed	Collapses the navigation rail.	Off
Dark navigation	The navigation rail uses dark colors.	On

Accessibility

Option	Effect	Default
Colorblind mode	Moves the status colors further apart so they are easier to tell apart.	Off
High contrast mode	Raises contrast across the console.	On the first visit, follows your operating system’s contrast setting.

Display

Option	Effect	Default
Fullscreen	Puts the browser window into full screen.	Off
Interface sounds	Plays a short sound for a rise in alerts, an incoming chat, and anything that fails. Turning it on plays the sound once.	Off

Language

Language offers English (US).

Reset

Reset console settings forgets every preference in this drawer and returns to the defaults.

The profile menu is the last button in the header. It shows your name and email address, and offers:

Item	Effect
Account	Opens your profile, phone, notifications, password, two-factor, email, and activity settings. See Manage your console account.
Switch to dark mode or Switch to light mode	Switches the theme.
Console settings	Opens the Console settings drawer.
Sign out	Ends your session in this browser.

Owners also have a Show unavailable features preference on the Account page. Unlike the drawer, it is saved with your account. See Plan-locked features.
