Use the portal on your phone or in Teams

The portal works on a phone as well as on a computer, so you can approve a quote or pay an invoice from wherever you are. You can also add it to your home screen like an app, or use it inside Microsoft Teams. This page shows how.

Open the portal’s address in your phone’s browser and sign in. On a phone, the main pages are in a bar at the bottom of the screen, and More holds the rest. Buttons to approve and pay stay in reach as you scroll.

The portal installs like an app, with your IT provider’s name and icon.

  • iPhone or iPad, in Safari. Open the portal, select the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Android, in Chrome. Open the portal, open the browser menu, then select Install app or Add to home screen.

Your invoices and other information are not stored on the phone, so the portal needs a connection to show them.

When your organization has added the portal to Teams, you find it under Apps, or as a tab in a channel or chat.

  1. Open the app or the tab.
  2. The first time, sign in with your portal account in the window that opens. Some organizations sign you in without asking.
  3. Use the portal as usual.

Paying, Payment methods, Autopay, and remote access open in your browser. If the app shows Open in browser, your account needs a sign-in step Teams cannot show. Select it and use the portal in your browser.

To add the portal to a channel, add the app as a tab and select Save. Everyone in the channel signs in with their own portal account.
